Akun Twitter resmi BTS me-retweet cuitan FIFA World Cup ini. Sebelumnya akun resmi BTS yaitu @bts_bighit mengunggah cuitan berupa pengumuman bahwa lagu Dreamers yang dinyayikan Jung Kook sudah dirilis."Dreamers Release #Dreamers2022 #JungKook #," demikian akun @bts_bighit menulis.

Seperti dikutip Hindustan Times, Jungkook BTS akan menjadi artis Asia pertama yang menyanyikan lagu resmi Piala Dunia. Pada tahun-tahun sebelumnya ada dua penyanyi yang mendapatkan kesempatan tersebut yaitu Shakira dan Enrique Iglesias.

Dreamers diluncurkan oleh Big Hit, manajemen artis yang menaungi Jung Kook BTS, pada Minggu (20/11/2022). Perilisan single terbaru Jung Kook BTS, Dreamers tersebut bersamaan dengan digelarnya pembukaan Piala Dunia 2022.
